An off-white ivory sculpture depicts an elongated dachshund facing left with its head lowered toward the ground. Standing on four short legs, its long body features carved ribs and musculature beneath a narrow neck collar. Long, drooping ears hang beside its snout, and a thin, straight tail extends behind. The smooth surface is detailed with subtle skin folds around its neck and legs, capturing the animal in a focused, sniffing pose.
