A short purple velvet jacket features dense, swirling patterns of glinting gold cord. Thick bands of raised cord outline the garment's neckline, cuffs, and scalloped front wrap closure. On the chest and long sleeves, the intricate gold embroidery contrasts against the deep purple base. Large, triangular sections of velvet remain unadorned on the upper arms. The jacket lies flat with its wide sleeves extended to both sides.
