A long, horizontal flounce of cream linen bobbin lace features dense repeating patterns of vines and flowers. The design is created by fine threads set against a delicate, net-like ground. A straight top edge contrasts with a scalloped bottom edge formed by rounded sections with intricate floral openwork. Perforated throughout with fine patterns, the textile exhibits a complex, layered texture across the entire rectangular surface.
