A carving depicts a bovine mask fashioned from jade, a mottled stone of tan and cream. The head features a U-shaped notch at the top, separating two flat horns. Two circular depressions represent eyes, surrounded by flowing, incised grooves with white accents. The mask tapers to a rounded base where the stone has slightly chipped. Patches of brown and white appear throughout the smooth surface, highlighting the jade's natural, polished sheen.
