A pale, translucent greenish-white jade container is shaped like a large goose with a smaller gosling nestled against its chest. The larger bird has its head turned right, and a round opening sits on its upper back. Scale-like patterns are carved across the wings and back to represent feathers. The small gosling faces forward at the front. The polished surface has a soft sheen, highlighting the smooth forms and intricate carving.
