A figurine depicts a horse carved from jade, a smooth, light gray-green stone mottled with brown and polished to a sheen. Facing our left, its head tucks down toward folded front legs. The body forms a rounded curve with hind legs tucked under the torso and a tail wrapping around the back haunch. Fine, parallel incised lines define the mane and tail.
