A jade ornament is shaped like a flat, wide arc of translucent olive-green stone with mottled brown patches. At the top center is a small drilled hole. Shallow carvings across the front depict a stylized animal face and curving patterns. The outer edge is notched and irregular, while the ends are jagged and weathered where the ornament has been broken.
