Deeply carved and polished, a rectangular, yellowish-brown ivory buckle features dragons in high relief. Centered at the top, a large dragon head with branching horns faces forward, while below it, a second head turns left toward a smooth pearl. Scaled, serpentine bodies twist through a background of swirling waves and small perforations. This aged piece showcases intricate textures on the dragons' scales and surrounding aquatic patterns.
