A horizontally long diasper satin and silk cloth features repeating patterns of purple, white, and blue flowers against a muted red ground with shimmering gold bands. Narrow vertical seams divide the textile into columns. Six square cream-colored patches, each with a circular gold design, are sewn onto the fabric—one in each corner and two at the bottom center—breaking up the floral patterns with their pale ivory color.
