Embroidery on a vertical linen rectangle features horizontal rows of alphabets and numerals in muted green, blue, pink, and brown thread (see 'Inscriptions'). Various serifed and block fonts are separated by decorative borders. The lower section displays pictorial motifs, including a figure with a light skin tone in a blue coat, a lion, and a crest featuring the date 1751. Scattered floral patterns and small symbols decorate the base against the off-white ground.
