A horizontally long cream linen panel of needle lace and filet features four repeating square sections. Inside each, mirrored birdlike figures face inward, rendered in dense darning against a knotted grid ground. This symmetrical pattern is framed by narrow geometric borders along the top and bottom. The monochromatic textile highlights a complex play of light and shadow through the intricate openwork grid and opaque motifs.
