Description

Each end of the sash is embroidered with a single motif of large-scale flowering plants. Below the main motif is a stylized foliate device forming a narrow border.
A rectangular linen sash features a mirrored floral motif embroidered in reddish-pink, blue, and glinting metallic threads. From a central tapered stalk, three segmented flower heads unfurl. Delicate stems with small blue leaves arc outward, while yellow and brown foliage anchors the base against the off-white ground. Gold and silver threads outline each shape. A narrow blue and metallic border lines the bottom edge of the symmetrical composition.
