A circular cream-colored lace collar features linen appliqué on fine machine net. Elaborate scrolling vines, stylized floral blossoms, and pointed leaves are worked in thick thread across the mesh background. The symmetrical design radiates from a large central opening toward a scalloped outer border. A series of small, repeating circular medallions edge the wavy periphery, while a narrow gap at the top allows for the garment's placement.
