An embroidered square fragment depicts a central reddish-brown bird-like figure, a creature with a large ringed eye and dark collar. Their beak holds a small tan object as they face left. A wing with dark blue and reddish striped feathers points right above a flared tail. Two thin legs end in three-toed feet, and a frayed fringe lines the bottom edge of the dark wool ground.
