A bright gold-colored copper lid is shaped like a shield with flat ends. Symmetrical, embossed patterns detail the surface. Suggesting foliage, a central spine of leaf-like lines fans upward, flanked by four outward-curving spirals on each side. Fine, wavy textures follow the contours of these scrolls, giving the surface a ridged, three-dimensional appearance. The object is set against a plain gray background.
