A tiered base of muted green jade and gilt bronze features stacked, tapering circular layers. The bottom jade ring is carved with an interlocking fretwork pattern. Centered above is a bronze tier embossed with a ring of raised, petal-like motifs. A flat golden disc tops the base, supporting a central hollow tube pierced by a side opening and ending in a threaded rim. The bronze surfaces show a varied, aged golden patina.
