Embroidery on a vertical wool scrim rectangle features silk-stitched alphabets in red, green, and black rows. Below, moral verses include the line "On God for all Events depends." The base depicts a garden landscape with stylized pink flowers and butterflies above an inscription reading "Alice Corbett her work Stony Stratford." A geometric, zig-zag border punctuated with small pink floral motifs frames the entire composition.
