A rectangular mother-of-pearl box features scalloped corners and four short feet. Against iridescent white panels, raised gold relief on the front depicts a woman in a gown seated under a tree near a sheep. Intricate gold vines and scrolls wrap the corners. The lid displays additional golden figures within a landscape. Detailed gold work contrasts with the shimmering background of the iridescent mother-of-pearl panels.
