A mother-of-pearl tool is shaped like a wide U with two upward-reaching prongs that curve outward at the tips. The iridescent base features wavy edges and is decorated with carved, swirling lines. Centered on the base is a raised gold ornament depicting a shell with flaring wings. The surface is smooth and reflective, with the gold element projecting forward from the iridescent white material.
