A gold and mother-of-pearl thimble features a cylindrical body topped with a domed head. The exterior is textured with a diagonal basketweave pattern of small, raised squares. Near the base, three thin horizontal bands wrap around the circumference. At the apex, the rounded surface tapers slightly toward a small, circular indentation. The repetitive geometric motif catches the light across the uniform gold surface.
