Description

Two rows of foliated inscription in medium tan appear on a tan ground. The foliage is in dark brown. The second row is a mirror image of the orthograde inscription.
A rectangular silk textile fragment features three horizontal bands on a muted tan ground. Plain top and bottom sections frame a wide central band of mirrored, dark brown stylized script interspersed with small floral motifs (see "Inscriptions"). The cloth displays frayed edges and a texture of fine horizontal lines throughout. The surface appears slightly uneven, and the right side has a curved, frayed border.
