A rectangular ivory box is decorated with relief-carved panels. Along the front, five figures in turbans and knee-length tunics stand inside arched frames. To our right, another figure appears on a side panel. The lid features a grid of six smaller scenes. A clear support replaces a missing panel on our left. Dark tones emphasize the recessed details and textures of the carvings against the cream-colored ivory.
