A bronze fibula, a curved garment fastener, like a wide-mouthed hook, sweeps from a tight coil on our left into a deep, semi-circular bow. A straight pin extends across the top, secured in a narrow, flattened channel. The bronze is dark brown and heavily mottled with vibrant green oxidation. At the far right end, a small, faceted, bell-shaped element hangs downward, terminating the piece in a geometric, decorative flourish.
