A jade scabbard fitting is a horizontal rectangular block. The pale green stone features dark brown, mottled patches concentrated on our right. A relief carving of a four-legged creature with a feline head and long body spans the front. The head is on our left, facing toward us, while the body and tail curve into a circle on our right. This hollow object is open at the top.
