An ivory sculpture depicts a warm brown lion's head with a surface of fine, aged cracks. An open mouth reveals pointed teeth and a tongue, while the eye is a deep circular carving. The neck features a texture of raised, rounded bumps before ending in a smooth, cylindrical base. Stylized, heavy lines are carved into the snout and forehead, following the curve of the open jaw.
