Did You Know?

Gourds auspiciously reference fertility due to their abundant seeds.
A yellowish-green jade vase, a double-gourd vessel, features a smaller bulb atop a larger base and a lid topped with a crouching animal figure. Two handles, carved like curved creatures, flank the upper bulb. Shallow, swirling cloud patterns cover the polished surface. Natural brown markings concentrate near the circular foot.
