A horizontally oriented woodblock print in black ink with deep, jagged gouges depicts an angular forest landscape. Tall, pointed trees with sharp, triangular branches dominate the left and center. In the lower center, geometric shapes form houses with pitched roofs. A smaller tree stands in the lower right. In the upper right sits an octagonal sun with thick radiating beams. Light tan wood grain contrasts with heavy black ink on raised surfaces.
