A vertical, rectangular canceled copper plate features a geometric abstraction of etched and colored forms. In the center, a grainy red hourglass is topped by a smooth white semicircle. Horizontal gray bands fill the background, some intercepted by fine vertical hatch marks. At the bottom, a triangle with diagonal lines sits beside a stippled gray form. The metallic surface transitions between textured and polished areas, creating a fractured landscape.
