Description

The underside of this figure is incised with two running animals to make a seal; when pressed into a soft material, it leaves an impression.
A sculpture depicts a bull carved from limestone, an off-white stone marked with brownish-tan spots and fine surface scratches. Its legs are tucked beneath its rounded body as it turns its head toward our right. Large, dark circular eyes of inlaid black stone sit above a wide muzzle, and small, rounded protrusions on its head suggest horns or ears.
