A polished silver compote features a wide, boat-shaped bowl that sweeps upward at the sides. The vessel is elevated by a slender, openwork stem composed of four vertical bands that bow outward, creating a hollow center. Tiny beads accent the top of the stem, which meets a smooth, domed circular base. The entire surface is highly reflective, casting deep shadows and brilliant highlights across its fluid, organic silhouette.
