A horizontally oriented tan silk fragment features two octagonal medallions enclosing symmetrical scenes of figures on elephants facing a central tree. Attendants stand behind the elephants, while pairs of hares sit among flowering plants at the base. Bands of decorative script fill the octagonal borders, with floral motifs at the corners. The dark brown patterns contrast with the light ground, which shows significant wear through frayed edges and horizontal tears.
