Did You Know?

The Christmas rose is not actually a rose but a member of the buttercup family.
A gilt-silver spoon features a polished gold-toned oval bowl and a long ribbed handle. At the junction where the handle meets the bowl, the numbers 19 and 29 are engraved. At the top, three white enameled five-petaled flowers with textured gold centers cluster together. Below them, a silver leaf with serrated edges is framed by curved gold wires. Polished metallic surfaces contrast with the smooth blossoms, creating a detailed botanical design.
