A dark gray Nile silt clay lamp is shaped like a bull's head. Wavy, textured lines decorate the forehead between two upward-curving horns, one of which is broken. Large, bulging eyes with concentric rings are set above small nostrils. At the tip of the snout, a round opening serves as a wick hole. The vessel rests on a flat base extending toward the back.
