Did You Know?

The bat is a lucky symbol as the Chinese word for bat, 蝠 fú, is pronounced the same as “good fortune” 福.
A flared bowl with Canton enamel features a yellow exterior and light turquoise interior. Centered on the body, a stylized pink and green bat with scrolling blue wings rests above a large pink blossom. Elaborate floral scrolls in pink, blue, and green weave across the yellow background. Gold-colored bands finish the small circular base and the flared top rim.
