A pale gray jade mirror, shaped like a scalloped cartouche, depicts a central floral spray with a large red flower and spiked green leaves. Thin gold stems branch outward, bearing smaller blossoms across the stone. Rectangular blue stones are inlaid near the perforated border, punctuated by small circular holes. From the bottom center projects a carved jade knob. The symmetrical composition is intricately outlined in gold against the translucent, mottled surface.
