A gilt bronze ornament depicts a lion-like creature facing left. Captured mid-stride, it stretches its front legs forward while pushing off with its back legs. Tightly coiled curls form a mane and a tail rising from its back. Its large head features an open mouth and round eyes. The polished gold surface highlights its muscular body and clawed paws.
