A gilt bronze ornament depicts a mythical lion in a dynamic crouch, its head lowered toward the right while one hind leg is raised toward the top left. Intricate, coiled curls form a dense mane and tail. Ribbed textures and small indented dots detail the muscular limbs and torso. The entire surface has a polished gold finish, and the face features a wide snout and prominent, rounded eyes.
