A painted ivory sculpture depicts the standing eleven-headed Avalokiteshvara with eight arms. His heads stack in five tiers, narrowing as they ascend: three rows of three topped by two single heads. Two central hands join in prayer at his chest while others reach outward. Faded red and green pigments accent the weathered, gold-toned surface. He stands straight-legged, draped in patterned garments, and mounted on a rectangular wooden pedestal.
