An eight-lobed bronze mirror, shaped like a blossom, features a central rounded knob. Two phoenix-like birds and two crouching beasts cavort in high relief among swirling scrolls. The dark gray surface, speckled with green corrosion, displays a textured patina. Each lobe contains an embossed floral spray, bee, or butterfly. Scalloped edges and fine hatch-marks detailing the animals' limbs provide intricate texture against the weathered, circular frame.
