A dark brown bronze sculpture depicts an ox reclining on its belly, its head turned back and upward toward our left. From its back, coiled, cloud-like forms rise to support a horizontal bar topped with a crescent moon bracket. The ox has a smooth surface with small areas of green oxidation. Its tail curls over its hind leg, and its face is finely sculpted with wide eyes and a rounded snout.
