Heavily encrusted with a mottled green and brown patina, this circular bronze mirror features a central hourglass-shaped knob. Two vertical columns of large, blocky Chinese characters flank the center: "孝子" on the left and "忠臣" on the right. A thin raised ridge encloses the central field, while a wide, stepped rim defines the outer edge. The corroded surface lends a textured, ancient quality to the cast metal disk.
