A dark bronze circular mirror with a flat handle features a relief scene on a pebbled background. A gnarled pine tree grows from the center toward the right. On the upper left, a crane flies with wings spread, while a second crane stands on the ground below. Vertical Japanese calligraphy is inscribed along the left edge. The rectangular handle shows patches of green oxidation.
