A circular, cast bronze mirror with a rectangular handle features raised relief of two peony flowers above pointed leaves. To the left, a butterfly wings toward the blooms over a textured hill and sweeping grass. Along the left edge, a vertical column of calligraphy is inscribed. The dark surface of the mirror is textured with a granular, aged patina.
