Overlapping, semicircular tool marks ripple across a vertically oriented woodblock of pale wood. Scattered dark knots interrupt the scalloped surface. Near the base, two deep gouges expose vibrant blue paint. The larger area on the left and a smaller section on the right display rough, horizontal ridges, creating a sharp textural contrast against the surrounding grain and repetitive, hand-cut patterns. Subtle blue staining also marks the upper right corner.
