A horizontally oriented cream cotton textile, intricately embroidered with pink, blue, gold, and black threads, features a central rectangular band depicting figures riding elephants and horses around a medallion. Above and below, rows of stylized peacock pairs flank flowering trees. Scattered floral medallions and large paisley motifs fill the remaining field. A floral border frames the composition, which is covered in the fine, wavy quilting lines characteristic of kantha.
