A brass circular box features a rounded lid with black inlays against a warm metallic ground. The central panel depicts a butterfly hovering among slender leaves and blossoms, framed by a ring of dots and crosses. Intricate bands of repeating geometric patterns, including honeycombs and interlocking lines, wrap around the vessel's sides. These dark details contrast sharply with the polished brass, which culminates in a gleaming, unadorned golden rim at the base.
