A wide glass sculpture consists of thousands of pulled and fused fibers forming a shallow vessel. A solid black base curves upward into sweeping horizontal bands of vibrant red and orange. Slashes of light blue and purple streak across the sides, ending in jagged peaks at the rim. The interior is a deep, saturated red. The deeply striated surface reflects light across its textured ridges, creating a sense of kinetic energy.
