A polished silver blade curves slightly to the right, featuring a dark engraved crest and the vertical stamp "CARDEILHAC." The tapering ivory handle is intricately decorated with gold-colored scrollwork and foliage patterns, finished with a decorative gilt cap. A beaded gold collar joins the handle to the blade. This vertical piece displays a striking contrast between the smooth silver metal and the ornate, gilded textures of the handle.
