A gilt silver and ivory dessert fork is oriented vertically. Three narrow silver tines taper to sharp points at the base. Above, the silver widens into scrolled flourishes. The long, tapering ivory handle is covered with dense, gilded carvings of swirling foliage and organic patterns. At the top, a rectangular gold cap is decorated with miniature ornamental shapes and crowned by a small, pointed finial.
