Description

Heinrich Loeffelhardt, a student of the famous Bauhaus pioneer designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld, designed this classic tea service using advanced heat resistant glass. In its production, both hand and machine glassmaking techniques are used to ensure that the pot pours without dripping while the glass handle stays cool to the touch.
A transparent glass teapot features a wide, bulbous body tapering to a small, flat base. At the top center, a short neck rises to a flared rim. A long, straight spout angles upward from the shoulder to the left. Opposite, a thin glass rod sweeps in a wide loop, joining the body at the midsection and the neck. The smooth, colorless glass reflects light across its entire curved form.
